Your local pharmacy
If you feel unwell over the holidays, your first call should be to the free NHS helpline 111. A limited number of pharmacies in Salford will open during Christmas and New Year, please make sure you know where your nearest pharmacy is and plan ahead.

The Mustard Tree aims to combat poverty, prevent homelessness and assist those in need. Their Food Club allows members to pay £2.50 for 10 items of food to help supplement food shops, while their Freedom Project helps people get ready for employment whilst improving their wellbeing. They are based in Little Hulton and you can contact them for support on 0161 505 0974.
Salford Assist offers short term support to people who are in crisis, emergency or major disaster situation, including help with the emergency supply of gas, food and electricity. For more information please call 0800 694 3695.
Acheive Salford Drug and Alcohol, Treatment and Recovery Centre
Achieve believe anyone living with a substance misuse problem can recover and they are here to help you achieve that. They also help people who support someone with a substance misuse issue. They are based at the Orchard Community Hub and can be contacted on 0161 358 1530.
