Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEPs)

In the unlikely event of a fire, it is essential you know how to evacuate and it is equally important that we’re aware if you have any specific needs around evacuation, for example a disability that means you require assistance on the stairs.

If you have things you would urgently need in the case of an evacuation (for example medication or baby bottles) it’s also important that you plan ahead and have what you need in a convenient place that means you can take it with you in case of an evacuation.

Remember, if there is a fire in your block you should follow the evacuation instructions immediately.

DO NOT WAIT TO BE TOLD TO EVACUATE BY THE FIRE SERVICE OR A FIRE MARSHAL.

Anyone who wants to make us aware of needs or wants help putting together a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP) should contact us urgently on 0300 555 5567 and we can arrange a Safe and Well visit from Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service.
