Pendleton Projects get funding
A number of projects in Salford are better off to the tune of almost £10,000 thanks to the Pendleton Co-operative.
Pendleton Co-operative is a charitable organisation set up specifically to benefit people living in the area.
Approximately £75,000 will be available for the next five years and Pendleton Co-operative hopes to attract match funding to boost the money it has available for good causes.
The fund gave out funding to 10 projects, all aiming to improve life and opportunities in Pendleton.
The successful projects were:
Salford Arts Theatre £1000 – New seating
Whitebeam Association £1000 – Art work
Emmaus Salford £1000 – Gardening tools
Hornbeam TARA £1000 – Community room
Spruce Court £600 - Laptops
Lombardy Court £1500 – Internal furniture and garden
Larkhill Parents’ Forum £1000 – Art materials
Pendleton Crackpots £1000 - Garden
Beech Court TARA £1000 – Community room.
