Ben Jennings wins Apprentice of the Year Award
Pendleton Together would like to congratulate Housing Management Apprentice Ben Jennings who has won the regional Chartered Institute of Housing’s Apprentice of the Year Award.
Ben feels honoured to have won the award, he says: “I am very proud to have won the award. It just goes to show that you really can make a difference in the world, and I have been recognised for that in this achievement.”
Ben is currently undertaking a two year apprenticeship with Pendleton Together which he hopes will lead to a full time job in the housing sector. Ben says that he has already learnt a lot about the industry in his time at Pendleton Together: “It has been busy from the get-go and I’ve faced some really big challenges, but it has taught me how to be flexible, how to handle pressure and how to work with my team to achieve great results.
“My colleagues have been brilliant – they’ve all taken me under their wing and helped me to grow and develop in my role. They’ve got fantastic knowledge and experience of social housing and I have learnt so much from them.”
Ben has since been entered for the Housing Heroes Awards taking place on 25th June 2018 in Manchester.
