Keep safe, be prepared
Pendleton Together has been working with our residents and partners to learn from recent incidents and keep all of our residents safe. In the unlikely event that you need to evacuate your block, it’s important you help yourself and others by thinking ahead.
Be prepared to evacuate
Evacuation instructions have been provided to all households. Make sure you know them in advance and are aware of the route you need to use. If you need help evacuating, please make sure you let us know as soon as possible, so we can share that information with key staff and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS).
Don’t forget, you can request a safe and well visit from GMFRS who can discuss your individual needs and help with solutions. To arrange a visit please contact them on 0800 555 815.
Think about what you might need
If you evacuate your lock you may not be able to return for some time. If you have urgent medication or medical aids that you require, please have them ready to go in case of an evacuation, or have a backup stored locally with friends. Please make sure you’ve thought of this in advance – never start looking for items or go back for them once an evacuation has been called.
If you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch on 0300 555 5567, firstname.lastname@example.org or call into Brotherton House.
