Memory Afternoon

On Tuesday 13th March we will be bringing residents together for Memory Afternoon, a wonderful event where we can bring our old memories of Salford to life. Memory Afternoon will take place in Brotherton House Respite Room between 2pm and 4pm, you can come along and share your fond memories with others or learn more about Salford’s unique history.

During this event we will be reflecting on Salford’s past and childhood memories. We will have a selection of picture packs borrowed from Salford Museum and Art Gallery to take a look at old photographs of Salford, from Langworthy to Salford Docks.

We will also have some memory boxes to remind us of what it was like to grow up in Salford many years ago, summer holidays, home lifestyles and much more. Take a trip down Memory Lane and enjoy old fashioned sweets with us, the taste will take you back!
