Swap to Stop: Switch to e-cigarettes for free
Do you want to stop smoking? Do you struggle with the usual quitting methods?
New evidence tells us that vaping is 95% less harmful than smoking tobacco, as well as costing a fraction of the price, and so more and more people are using e-cigarettes to quit smoking. For some people, the initial cost of buying an e-cigarette and the vaping liquid can stop them from giving this method a go - which is why Pendleton Together is backing a new campaign to help people quit smoking and get healthy using e-cigarettes.
Swap to Stop is an exciting new project in Salford which aims to help people bite the habit by switching to vaping for free. Residents who sign up to take part will be given a free e-cigarette starter kit, including four weeks' worth of vaping liquids, plus support to help them quit.
The harmful effects of smoking are well known, but in addition to the obvious health benefits, quitting smoking could also save you up to £100 every single month. If you've considered trying an e-cigarette to help you stop smoking, this is a fantastic opportunity to trial it for free.
