Create a path into employment at drop-in event

Pendleton Together is holding a series of exciting drop-in events to help tenants improve their job prospects, develop new skills and find their best route to work.

Representatives from the National Careers Service, Salford Skills and Employment and Salford Health Works will be present, alongside Pendleton Together employment and skills experts, to offer professional careers advice and support residents who are looking for employment.

The events will provide expert advice and services to help you create a path into employment, from help improving your CV to finiding training and work placements.

The first drop-in session took place in Spruce Court community room where 24 residents took the opportunity to look for work and receive help from one of the services on hand, a number of job vacancies were also available on the day.

Residents who are interested in improving their lives through work are invited to attend the next drop-in session at Brotherton House on Wednesday 25th October, 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
