Speak Easy
People who don’t speak English as a first language have gathered at Brotherton House to learn the essential parts of English conversation.
The course, which runs for the next month for two-and-a-half hours every week, will focus not only on language skills, but also on citizenship.
Lynne Harrison, who has worked with a tutor from Wai Yin Society and Salford City College to host the course, said: “The course has had a great response and is now full. We’ll certainly be looking to see if we can put more of these on in future, so anyone who has a language need should get in touch.”
