Salford is an amazing place to live and work. A rich history that starts with its charter in 1230 and continues to the present day as the UK’s largest hub for media outside London. Within this diverse city Pendleton, historically a colliery industrial revolution centre, today plays host to the University of Salford,  Salford Shopping Centre and, of course, Pendleton Together.

Pendleton Gateway, on the Broadwalk opposite our Brotherton House offices (M6 5UX), hosts Clarendon Surgery and The Angel Medical Practice.

Salford Royal Hospital in Stott Lane is your local hopsital, including outpatients and A&E services.



Sports & Leisure

Pendleton Together operate a number of outdoor gyms around our high rise blocks. Meanwhile, Salford Community Leisure run sports activities all over Salford, including the nearby Clarendon Leisure Centre. This includes a pool, gym, squash court and fitness classes.

Libraries, Museums & Culture

Pendleton Gateway, oppostie our Brotherton House offices on the Braodwalk, hosts a library, including a reference and children’s section.

Salford Arts Theatre provides a number productions all year round. it is complimented by The Lowry theatre at Salford Quays and many other major theatres in Manchester City Centre.

Salford Community Leisure also operate a number of museums within walking distance of most of our properties.

Council Services

There is information on Salford City Council services on their website and also from The Pendleton Gateway, opposite our Brotherton House offices.

Shopping and Retail

Salford Shopping Centre is immediately oppostie our Brotherton House offices and has a number of popular high street shops, charity shops, newsagents and cafes. Immediatey beyond it is a small covered market, a TESCO, Aldi and Lidl supermarket. 

A number of other shops exists along Langworthy Road and around the area.
